“Being recognized for this award is an honor in itself, but to receive it on birthday makes it ten times greater of a feeling,” said Miguel about being named Gillette‘s Fusion Man of Style.
Miguel Perdomo, who is from Patterson, N.J. accidentally entered the modeling world a few years ago, “people always asked me are you a model? Or and are you interested in modeling, and I would be nah, I am just a regular kat that is into music and hanging out. Until one day, I was offered what at the moment seemed to be an ok opportunity, so I decided to give it a try,” says Miguel. He had been tagged as the ‘First Male Dominican Supermodel’ has also appeared on several national and international ads including Calvin Klein Underwear, Sean John, Songs of Freedom Jeans, Touch City USA Footwear, Rochester Big & Tall, among others. In his spare time he enjoys giving back to his community, by donating his time, voice, and athletic skills to the youth at the local YMCA in Patterson, N.J. Miguel also partakes in the relief efforts for the Dominican Tornado Relief, in which he collects canned goods, clothing and anything that he can to send to the Dominican Republic for those affected by the disaster.
Congratulations to Miguel! We look forward to seeing what’s next for the supermodel.
