Programming.
The evening brought out tons of media and tastemakers, including notables, Bilal and Adrienne Bailon, and many others who supported the event. The silent and live auctions went on without a hitch; original pieces by Bronx Arts elementary student artists were amongst the favorites. Additional exciting items that were auctioned included a Napa Valley vacation package, autographed Adele sheet music, an autographed Michael Jackson CD, and much more. Swizz Beatz really got everyone’s attention as he phoned some of his celebrity friends, as he put his phone on speaker and captured conversations via microphone. Three celebrity colleagues pledged large-dollar donations that helped the school reach its fundraising goals.
As guests sipped on Ciroc cocktails and munched on delicious hors d’oeuvres, they were also treated to a special live performance by chart-topping artist Melanie Fiona, who rocked the crowd and helped set the stage for a festive and lively affair.
