Money Heist: The Experience Opens in NYC

by xoJohn

Netflix is home to many popular shows like Squid Game and Stranger Things. One of my favorites among the slew of hits is Money Heist, a Spanish heist crime drama that is now in its 5th season. Netflix has teamed up with Fever for one of the most immersive experiences I’ve ever seen. Guests can now be a part of the gang and test their skills at breaking,

Netflix’s show, Stranger Things, is not slated to return until next year, but fans can still quench their thirst for the hit show by checking out the first-ever pop-up shops. They will be located in New York City’s Times Square and at The Americana at Brand in Los Angeles. The shops will immerse fans in a world of supernatural mystery, enduring friendships, and 80s nostalgia in a one-of-a-kind celebration of the Stranger Things universe. Both stores will open on Stranger Things Day, November 6, 2021.

The CBS Television Studios Summer Press Day took place on Monday at the London Hotel in West Hollywood. The day consisted of four panels that highlighted a few of shows that will be part of the 2015 CBS summer line-up.

The first panel of the day was for “The Late Late Show with James Corden.” James Corden (Host), Ben Winston (Executive Producer), and Rob Crabbe (Executive Producer) fielded questions from the media and spoke about the recent success of the show that just wrapped its 30th episode. When asked if David Letterman had an influence on him, James responded by sharing that he first became familiar with the Late Show with David Letterman after moving to New York City. He was extremely homesick and the show helped provide him with some late night companionship. James said this of Letterman “I think I found a connection with him in the way that so many others have. And in a much deeper sense, over the last 30 years, it suddenly became clear to me the power that late night hosts have. It’s like you’re checking in with a friend.”

Tonight, fans of NBC’s runaway hit Revolution will find themselves enthralled in a thrilling new season.  The show’s plot follows a group of revolutionaries attempting to survive 15 years after a worldwide blackout that plunges the Earth into darkness.  The series takes place in the USA and gives a startling portrayal of life without electricity.  For much of the world the lack of energy is very real.  Many of the world’s biggest slums are without the luxuries that many of us take for granted.  This fact is what makes the series so engaging and real.  Earlier this week we attended an advance screening of the season 2 premiere as well as a panel discussion with some of the show’s cast as well as UN delegates who weighed in on the more realistic aspects of the program.

Fans of Showtime network’s mega-hit House of Lies can rejoice, season 2 is finally here! The first season of this Sunday night comedy introduced the world to Marty Kaan and his amazing team of management consultants. The series serves as a scathing satire of American corporate culture, and follows the antics of the crack team as they create, manipulate and solve problems for various CEO’s and corporate big wigs. Season 1’s finale left us all scratching our heads wondering if Marty (Don Cheadle) and Jeannie (Kristen Bell) finally hooked up after a drunken night of debauchery.  Much of that fateful night’s insanity was revealed via an advanced screening of the season 2 premiere.
