Rain has not been on our side this Summer in New York, but our crew was lucky enough to get beautiful weather on our trip out to the Meadow Brook Polo Club & Academy in Old Westbury. Just a gallop away from Manhattan on the Long Island Railroad, we were transported to the ultimate summer social scene.

The Greenwich Polo Club, one of the premier polo clubs in the world, hosted the East Coast Gold Cup Final. The tournament saw six teams, up to 16 goals, compete in the East Coast Gold Cup leading to the finale. Altaris and Ellipse Polo Teams competed in the high goal tournament. Altaris defeated Ellipse by a score of 12-11. The final was the club’s last match for the June and July East Coast High Goal series. The Greenwich Polo Club will next host the East Coast Open starting Sunday, August 29, 2021.

Today in Texas, world-renowned personal injury attorney Thomas J. As you all know, the U.S. Open is set to start next week; Tennis pros, as well as fans, are flocking to New York City for the various games and activities taking place around the big apple. On Thursday, the Lotte New York Palace’s beautiful courtyard was transformed into a sporting oasis as 14-time Grand Slam winner in men’s tennis, Rafael Nadal went head to head against all-time great female tennis pro, Venus Williams. This time around, things were a little different, the two played a round of Badminton for the 2017 Palace Invitational Badminton Tournament.

The annual ESPYS awards, honoring the best in sports, is no stranger to Los Angeles; in fact, as one of the premiere events of the year on the West Coast, GBK Productions brought the celebration and style to the occasion hosting their signature, annual celebrity gift lounge honoring ESPY Award Nominees and Presenters, as well as throwing a celebrity poker tournament to benefit Los Angeles area charities.

This past weekend the Longines Los Angeles Masters took place at the Los Angeles Convention Center. This event which was created by EEM World is “a unique global event concept created to bring Equestrian Show Jumping to the forefront of the international sporting and social scenes.” This was the first time that The Masters Grand Slam which includes events in both Paris and Hong Kong came to LA. The Masters’ competition offered class formats that were designed specifically with grabbing the attention of both equestrian aficionados and those that are new to the sport in mind. The most prolific riders and Show Jumping horses in the world competed for prize money that equaled one million dollars during the four day competition.
