Restaurant Reviews

Location: 515 Seventh Avenue

Cuisine: American/French Steakhouse

Items: 1 appetizer, 2 entrees, 2 desserts 2 cocktails.

Cost: $195 with 20% tip

Best Dish: The steak is by far the best I have had in a long while. It was thick but tender and moist. The béarnaise sauce really complimented the hearty beef. A close second is the seafood offering. For the price, it is a beautiful and filling dining experience.

Overall: You may visit Desmond’s for their amazing food but you will return for their first class service. The attentive staff treats everyone like a VIP.

Get Cozy at Toshi’s Living Room

by xoJohn

Over the past four years we have reviewed an endless amount of restaurants and lounges but have finally found one of our favorites. It’s called Toshi’s Living Room, the Flatiron Hotel’s newest live music venue bar and restaurant. Owned by hotelier Robert “Toshi” Chan, the cozy living room exudes a effervescent ambiance and extensive food prepared by Lavanderos, a Mexican-born chef and a graduate of the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City and exquisite cocktail menu.
