Restaurant Review

Location: 420 Amsterdam Avenue

Cuisine: Caviar /American

Best Dish: The crab cakes were delicious but the star of the caviar bar was the caviar pizza. This unique pie is as glorious to the eye as it is to the palate.

Overall: A relaxed casual way to enjoy premium beverages and opulent caviar. The right venue for an interesting date night with an adventurous foodie or a treat with good friends.

Location: 135 West 45th Street

Cuisine: American

Best Dish: The wings were splendid and the mac and cheese was to die for, but the bread pudding was the star of the evening. It was butter and rich without being cloyingly sweet.

Overall: Both the restaurant and the bar are comfortable relaxing spaces. The restaurant is perfect for the whole family but the bar is an impressive space for date night or an evening with friends.

Midtown Manhattan has a new watering hole.  Lexington’s is nowopen for business and ready to serve. The luxurious space is located on the main floor of the beautiful The Court Hotel, at 130 East 39th street, just a few short blocks from Grand Central Station and a few of the city’s most popular attractions, the space is easily accessible and a nice place to entertain out of town guests without the insanity of nearby Times Square. We visited the low key gastro pub last week for a sneak peak at the glorious new furnishings and menu. The space is sophisticated and spacious with a beautiful long bar and several intimate seating options. A great deal of careful planning went into its overall design and it shows.
