Michael Costello debuted his New York Fashion Week runway show at Skylight Studios on September 8, 2016, brought out the flare and fanfare from the VIP guests in attendance like Petra Nemcova, Paris Hilton, Robert Verdi and Dorothy Wang among others, to the celebrity models in the show including Tyson Beckford, and the collection itself which utilized sweeping designs of dresses and stunning “Coachella-esque” floral headpieces amongst strong colors like dark purple, red and dark pink metallic sheens in the collection.
“On Sunday, I’ll be presenting my first collection at Lincoln Center, the pinnacle of creativity where artists from all over the world show off the spectacular work they do. Thinking back to when I was a little girl growing up in Romania designing dresses for my dolls, it’s so surreal to think that I am now one of those artists!”
