Restaurant Review: Il Tinello East

by xoJohn

For over 35 years Il Tinello has blessed Midtown Manhattan with its classic Italian cuisine. The west side has enjoyed a feast of handmade pasta sumptuous sauces and incredible hospitality and now that same energy has been brought to the east side.  Just a few blocks from the historic Grand Central Station is Il Tinello’s 2nd location. The 75-seat dining space is in a cozy nook on 46th street. At the entrance step up a few stairs to the hostess and take in the quaint dimly lit area.  We sat at a nice quiet table in the rear of the restaurant.

Lost Spirits has a very sophisticated menu, which includes signatures and classic cocktails, wine, beer, and small plates utilizing locally sourced produce (from Union Square Market).
