There has been so much buzz about FX’s latest series, “Atlanta.” So what’s it all about?
Two cousins work through the Atlanta music scene in order to better their lives and the lives of their families. Donald Glover serves as Executive Producer, along with Paul Simms and Dianne McGunigle.
Last night we took our talents over to Artbeam where The Art of Shaving celebrated the newest addition to the family, The Morris Park Collection. The evening featured a look at rare 1950s and 1960s vintage cars that inspired the collection. The razors were just as sleek as the cars with a bold style and smooth handling. They come in three colors – Signal Red, Royal Blue and British Racing Green.
To help guests achieve the perfect shave, Master Barbers from The Art of Shaving were on hand to demonstrate key grooming styles and 4 Elements of the Perfect Shave. Among the guests included Johannes Huebl and Olivia Palermo who mingled with guests while discussing grooming tips with The Art of Shaving Master Barbers.
Last night, we stopped by one of our favorite areas, South Street Seaport for the grand opening of Ambrose Beer and Lobster. The grand opening featured the largest and most delicious looking lobster roll on the Seaport – 20 feet long (the length of the bar!). Guests enjoyed specialty cocktails, craft beers, and of course delicious food like pretzel bites, lobster grilled cheese, lobster avocado wraps, Parmesan and truffle French fries. The night also included competitive games of beer pong and dancing, thanks to the sounds of DJ Kalkutta.
Earlier this week, Zodiac Vodka and Scooter Braun introduced Zodiac Vodka to the California market as part of the brand’s national rollout. The night’s theme was a journey through time and the party reflected it in every aspect. Upon walking up to the venue, guests were immediately greeted by one of the biggest hits of the night, a life size DeLorean Time Machine, best known as the fictional automobile-based time traveling device from the “Back to the Future” franchise.
During the evening, patrons were taken through the decades with the Hot Dub Time Machine – The World’s Best Time Traveling Dance Party DJ Tom Loud. He took the audience on a journey “through time” playing tracks and enormous projected visuals in “strict chronological order” from 1954 to 2015, all mashed live from vinyl turntables.
