Destination IMAN Is Now Open

Last week, the fashion world descended on the Dream Hotel to support fashion icon Iman, CEO of IMANCosmetics and founder of IMAN Global Chic as she officially launched Destination IMAN, a website dedicated to her travels and how they relate to the worlds of fashion, beauty and lifestyle. The A-List guests list included Coco Rocha, Estelle, Rachel Zoe, Padma Lakshmi, Brian Atwood, Erin O’Connor, Nadejda Savcova, Joan Smalls, Karen Elson, Stephen Gan, June Ambrose, Robert Verdi, Rachel Roy, Chris Benz, Carlos Souza, Scott Lipps, Nadia Grifith, Noah Mills, Derek Blasberg, Shala Monroque, Marie Powell, Simon Doonan, and many more.

2010 CFDA Fashion Awards

Last night, the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), which was generously underwritten by Swarovski for the ninth year in a row, paid tribute to the winners and honorees of the 2010 CFDA Fashion Awards at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center. The top honors went to Marc Jacobs for Womenswear Designer of the Year, presented by Jessica Biel. The award for Menswear Designer of the Year was presented by Anthony Mackie to David Neville & Marcus Wainwright for Rag & Bone. Alexis Bittar took home the Accessory Designer of the Year Award, presented by actress Dakota Fanning. Fashion icon Iman was presented with the Fashion Icon Award by Isabella Rossellini.

CEO of (RED) Susan Smith Ellis and (RED) Co-founder Bono

Last night, was the star studded New York premiere of The Lazarus Effect, presented by HBO and (RED) at MoMa. Guests included (RED) Co-founder Bono, Gabourey Sidibe, Supermodels Iman and Alek Wek, Hayden Christensen, Zach Galifianakis, and a host of others. HIV/AIDS is a preventable and treatable disease, yet it has killed more than 20 million people in Africa.
