Parlor was the place to be as Heineken hosted the Official After-Party for the critically-acclaimed film X/Y, bringing together the film’s cast – including America Ferrera, Ryan Piers Williams, Jon Paul Phillips, Dree Hemingway and Melanie Diaz. Guests literally danced the night away while enjoying delicious treats, cocktails, and of course Heineken!
The Tribeca Film Festival, sponsored by AT&T, hosted a screening for the film Summer of Blood on Thursday, April 17, 2014. The film, dubbed a ‘supernatural comedy’ by producer Max Heller, who also has a small role in the film, is a very entertaining movie that filled the theater with laughter from beginning to end. What starts off as a romantic comedy with a very eccentric character named Erik Sparrow, played by actor/director Onur Tukel, quickly morphs into the supernatural with the appearance of a blood-sucking vampire. The twists and turns that continue keep you glued to your seat while laughing at some of the off-beat musings of Erik.
On January 20th, 2013, HEINEKEN USA sponsored the second-ever Hip-Hop Inaugural Ball. Presented by Hip Hop Summit Action Network and Philanthropik.org, this event celebrated the hip-hop community’s active role in raising political awareness surrounding the 2012 Presidential Election. Fans of Showtime network’s mega-hit House of Lies can rejoice, season 2 is finally here! The first season of this Sunday night comedy introduced the world to Marty Kaan and his amazing team of management consultants. The series serves as a scathing satire of American corporate culture, and follows the antics of the crack team as they create, manipulate and solve problems for various CEO’s and corporate big wigs. Season 1’s finale left us all scratching our heads wondering if Marty (Don Cheadle) and Jeannie (Kristen Bell) finally hooked up after a drunken night of debauchery. Much of that fateful night’s insanity was revealed via an advanced screening of the season 2 premiere.
