Grey Goose Le Melon Toasts Filmmaker Spike Lee

Spike Lee, the award winning filmmaker behind such hits as Mo’ Better Blues and She’s Gotta Have It was immortalized in a original royal portrait by Kehinde Wiley (You can see that special moment in our YouTube video). Wiley has partnered with Grey Goose to celebrate the “Modern Kings of Culture” through a portrait series. The series was put in place to honor influencers who have charted extraordinary paths to achievement. Spike Lee was unquestionably the perfect choice to kick off the series, which will also include Swizz Beatz and Carmelo Anthony.

Grey Goose and Vanity Fair Toast American Hustle

Vanity Fair and GREY GOOSE hosted a private cocktail party last night at AGO to toast director David O. Russell and the cast of the Academy Award–nominated film, American Hustle, as part of Vanity Fair Campaign Hollywood. The event was held in support of the Ghetto Film School, an organization that educates, develops, and celebrates the next generation of great American storytellers, and a cause close to David O. Russell’s heart.

Grey Goose Blue Door Lounge Returns to Sundance

The GREY GOOSE Blue Door lounge occupied its prime location in the center of  Main Street for the third year in a row at Sundance. The evening festivities began with a dinner for the cast of The Skeleton Twins. Director Craig Johnson, writer Mark Heyman, executive producer Mark Duplass and producer Jacob Pechenik posed for photos and greeted well-wishers, along with the film’s stars Bill Hader, Luke Wilson and model, Boyd Holbrook. Actors Kevin Pollack and Bob Oldenkirk came out to support  as did Holbrook’s girlfriend, actress Elizabeth Olsen.

Hosted by Harvey Weinstein and Stephen Fry, Friday night’s Grey Goose dinner for Silver Linings Playbook celebrated the BAFTA-nominated performances given by the movie’s leading actors, Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence, as well as the film’s nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay. Held at Little House in Mayfair, the dinner marked the start of this weekend’s BAFTA – British Academy Film Awards – celebrations in London.Bradley Cooper_Jennifer Lawrence_Michael Fassbender

At the pre-dinner cocktail reception, guests were served the Grey Goose Le Fizz and a selection of cocktails from the Grey Goose Awards Season Collection overseen by master mixologist Joe McCanta. Dinner was followed by speeches from Harvey Weinstein and Stephen Fry, who had just arrived after performing on stage in Twelfth Night in London’s West End.

Nicole Kidman’s appearance at the Grey Goose Blue Door was one of the highlights of the Sundance film festival. Commanding the entire room with her striking presence and graceful demeanor, the gorgeous movie star celebrated the premiere of Stoker with co-stars Mia Wasikowska and Dermot Mulroney.

Inside Grey Goose Blue Door Party

Last week, Grey Goose hosted an exclusive late night celebration featuring a DJ spinoff by pro athlete James Blake versus DJ masters KISS and M.O.S. The private party was part of the brands “Blue Door” series, a secret roster of pop up events planned around top moments in entertainment – including the recently concluded US Open Tennis Championships.

James Blake kicked off his DJ set by spinning the latest hits and taking requests from party goers, while married couple DJ KISS and DJ M.O.S. got the crowd on their feet by spinning a few classics. Guests enjoyed the music and competition until the early hours, while sipping on signature cocktails and delicious hor devours. The event was a great way to cap off a busy week of fashion and sports.

The cocktails of the evening included:

GREY GOOSE Cherry Noir Cherry Slice

2 parts GREY GOOSE Cherry Noir Flavored Vodka

¾ part fresh-squeezed lemon juice

¾ part simple syrup

Club soda

Add GREY GOOSE Cherry Noir Flavored Vodka, fresh-squeezed lemon juice and simple syrup to a tall

glass filled with ice, and top with club soda. Stir gently, and present with a cherry.

GREY GOOSE Honey Deuce

1 1/4 parts GREY GOOSE Vodka fresh squeezed lemonade

1/2 part Chambord or premium raspberry liqueur crushed ice honeydew melon balls for garnish

Fill a chilled highball glass with crushed ice and add GREY GOOSE Vodka.  Top with lemonade to just below the rim and then add Chambord. Garnish with honeydew melon balls.
