Joe Galaxy has an infectious genre bending sound that shows influences of pop, rock, techno and hip-hop, and was recently signed by music impresario Renegade Foxxx. In addition to his music, Joe has also conquered the modeling world and is an accomplished actor having appeared in several commercials and TV shows. Exclusive: One on One With Flo Rida
Tramar Dillard AKA Flo Rida has the unique distinction of being one of the very few artists to have a triple-platinum debut single. “Low” from Flo’s first album “Mail on Sunday” took off like a rocket spawning 2 remixes as well as the record for longest running number 1 single of 2008. An international sensation it comes as no surprise to find various adaptations of the catchy tune performed by amateurs on YouTube. Surprisingly enough most covers are performed with an acoustic guitar giving the hit a “Country Western” twang.

When I first heard Bilal’s Soul Sista on the radio in 2001, I did not know he was the same voice I had heard singing on Common’s song The 6th Sense just a year prior. His style was a throw back to a soul sound I had remembered of the early 80s at the same time blending it with a futuristic sound.
“Live your dreams out and all the benefits will follow
I’m just an example of a sample what someone can do
When they put their mind to it and forget what they’ve been through”
~Will Roush, from Live It Up
I have interviewed many young rising artists, who through their passion for their artistry and determination in the music business have inspired me in my own professional and personal life. Will Roush is another artist I can add to that list.
