Dion Roy is an emerging artist on the indie music scene, fusing his bass-inspired roots with his knack for writing an unforgettable pop/rock hook. Born in Namibia, raised in South Africa, later raised in New Jersey and now a true New Yorker at heart, Roy has lived and breathed the downtown Lower East Side music landscape for the past 9 years.
New York-based singer/songwriter, Dion Roy, performed live on a boat cruise on Friday evening (April 23) with Ryan Cabrera (who sources tell us recently reunited with his reality tv girlfriend, Audrina Patridge). Over 200 passengers boarded the ship which left from the East River and toured Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty as the two artists did what they do best for their screaming fans.
