Enjoy Fall Drinks with Cascade Blonde American Whiskey

by xoJohn

Cascade Blonde American Whiskey is a new style of whiskey that is finished with water straight from Tullahoma, Tennessee’s own Cascade Spring which makes the taste smooth, crisp, and sippable. The flavor is also fruitful with notes of vanilla. Cascade Blonde American Whiskey is not only perfect for a Summery cocktail but can be consumed on a chilly Fall/Winter day. This would go perfectly in a Hot Toddy or serve on the rocks or neat. Cascade Blonde American Whiskey was most recently rewarded the Silver Medal at the 2018 SF World Spirits Competition.

Summer is officially over, but don’t fret, the fun doesn’t have to end. Bring good times indoors with our friends at Clinton Hall. Since their official launch in 2013, we’ve visited several of their locations and we’ve never had a bad time. The family-friendly bar and restaurant are known for its playful atmosphere, extensive beer list and delicious menu of comfort food favorites. Clinton Hall’s main purpose is to get people together. To further their mission each establishment has communal tables, shareable snacks and a collection of popular board and card games. If you stop by the 36th Street location you may even get the chance to try your luck at Drag Bingo!

Let’s face it, there is nothing like Summer Rooftop season in New York. We’re always on the hunt for the newest hotspots the city has to offer. To be honest, the usual spots in the city are starting to get old and boring! We were ecstatic to hear about Savanna Rooftop, located at the top of the Z Hotel, 11-01 43rd Avenue in Long Island City. Yes, Long Island City! Located just one train stop from midtown Manhattan.

Toriko NY (Review)

by xoJohn

Location: 76 Carmine Street, New York NY 10014

Cuisine: Japanese Omakase

Cost: $$$$

Overall: A mind-blowing culinary treat that is sure to satisfy your foodie curiosity.

Anime and Manga fans know Toriko as a popular series in which the titular character is on a quest for the ultimate feast. For us, Toriko is a fascinating new eatery in Greenwich Village, featuring Omakase style service with a focus on Yakitori or skewered meats. An Omakase style service leaves your entire meal in the hands of the chef.
