Carlos Campos debuted his Spring/Summer 2019 collection as part of the CFDA’s New York Fashion Week: Men’s on Monday, July 9 at Industria Studios. The 25 look menswear collection is a return the brand’s early heritage of a clean, architectural silhouette, crisp tailoring in a bold color palette.

The kingpin of apres surf wear strikes again – Thaddeus O’Neil, known for his relaxed, beach-bum chic collections, takes us on a journey to an isolated, tropical island and leaves us shipwrecked with his lost boys, his Children of the Night. Bloody noses, lips, and eyes don’t stop these boys from strutting down the runway with their passive and stoic bravado. Pineapple prints and loose knits belie the look in their eyes.

2010 CFDA Fashion Awards

Last night, the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), which was generously underwritten by Swarovski for the ninth year in a row, paid tribute to the winners and honorees of the 2010 CFDA Fashion Awards at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center. The top honors went to Marc Jacobs for Womenswear Designer of the Year, presented by Jessica Biel. The award for Menswear Designer of the Year was presented by Anthony Mackie to David Neville & Marcus Wainwright for Rag & Bone. Alexis Bittar took home the Accessory Designer of the Year Award, presented by actress Dakota Fanning. Fashion icon Iman was presented with the Fashion Icon Award by Isabella Rossellini.

IMG announced plans for its first season of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Lincoln Center’s Damrosch Park at a fashion industry briefing supported by The City of New York, Lincoln Center and the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). The move to Lincoln Center has allowed IMG Fashion to unveil event upgrades (which we have detailed below)

The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) announced the nominations for the 2010 CFDA Fashion Awards at an exclusive event hosted by Nadja Swarovski and Diane von Furstenberg(pictured above) at the designer’s studio in the Meatpacking District. “American fashion designers continue to prove their creative mettle,” says Steven Kolb, executive director of the CFDA. “This year’s nominees and honorees truly represent the depth of great accomplishment and immense talent.” The 2010 CFDA Fashion Awards winners will be announced at the annual gala, generously underwritten by Swarovski, on June 7 at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center. This year will again feature The Popular Vote Award sponsored by L’Oréal Paris, giving the public the opportunity to vote for its favorite designer. The online site, hosted by Women’s Wear Daily, will present looks from designers of womenswear, menswear, and accessory design and includes a write in option.
