On Thursday, artist Bentley Meeker celebrated the opening of “Exploring Light,” a show of his new illuminated sculptural works, presented by Garvey|Simon gallery at a pop-up space in the Hudson Yards district of Manhattan.

MvVO ART announced a call for submissions to AD ART SHOW, its newest art venture, during a reception at Y&R. Artists are invited to submit their portfolio of contemporary paintings, photography, sculpture, art on paper, mixed media, and video art via the MvVO ART website. Artists selected for AD ART SHOW will have a unique opportunity to take their art career to the next level in a prestigious exhibition at Sotheby’s, where the exhibit will be showcased February 22–25, 2018. The deadline for artist submissions is Monday, November 20, 2017.
Palm Beach Show Group’s CEO Scott Diament welcomed over 2,000 guests to the New York Art Antique & Jewelry Show at its new location of Pier 94 on Wednesday, November 9th. The evening kicked off with a private cocktail party hosted by Sharon Bush that toasted her daughter Lauren Bush Lauren and her FEED Foundation. Diament gave Bush Lauren a check for, 000 that will provide over 90,000 meals to hungry children, and thanked guests, including his business partner Robert Samuels and the British Antique Dealers Association (BADA) who he was welcoming to their inaugural year at the Show.
