Resident Magazine celebrated it’s July cover with CNN Anchor Don Lemon on Sunday, July 21, 2019, with an exclusive invite-only VIP party. In case you didn’t know, the glossy mag throws some of the best parties around New York, at the most prestigious locations. This time around, the intimate party was hosted at Lulu Kitchen and Bar in Sag Harbor, NY.

Over the weekend, Charlotte McKinney hosted the 8th Annual ‘St. Barth Hamptons Gala’ presented by Social Life and Escada. The sparkling event took place at the Bridgehampton Historical Museum, and a portion of the proceeds benefitted the museum. Over 700 guests gathered and enjoyed gourmet hors d’oeuvres, champagne and specialty cocktails by Lessings. Revelers danced the night away to the upbeat sounds of DJ Lee Kalt and perused and bid on the exciting items in the Go Charity silent auction. Vanessa Gordon, the Hamptons lifestyle expert, and Publisher of East End Taste Magazine presented the 2nd Annual Hamptons Interactive Influencer Brunch at The Maidstone Hotel in East Hampton, New York. This event was in benefit of Bideawee, one of the first no-kill animal rescue centers in America, with a focus on their Westhampton rescue center.

The heat didn’t stop people from attending. The 2nd Annual Hamptons Interactive Influencer Brunch was well attended. Hamptons Luxury Liner transported notable influencers, celebrities, and NYC-based personalities to The Maidstone Hotel. Speaking of influencers, one of East Ends most influential guests were actress and philanthropist Leesa Rowland, who’s also the founder and president of Animal Asham. Also in attendance were celebrity youth activist and recording artist Meredith O’Connor, Real Estate Broker Eric Goldie, Nutritionist Liana Werner-Gray, Cara Woodhouse of Cara Woodhouse Designs, and actress Melanie Chandra.

The most legendary all-white secret pop-up returned to Battery Park in New York City on Wednesday, July 17, 2019. The stormy weather didn’t deter more than 5,000 people from attending the coveted event. Besides, everyone was able to enjoy a full two hours of some sun and picturesque views of the skyline before the torrential downpour. Guests were all smiles as they entered the scenic Nelson A. Rockefeller Park and took a seat at their tables. Many were noshing on their delicious dinner and champagne flowed throughout.

New York philanthropist and author Jean Shafiroff, and her husband, Vice Chairman of wealth management and investment banking firm Stifel, Martin Shafiroff, hosted over 125 guests at their beautiful Southampton home at the launch reception for the Stony Brook Southampton Hospital’s 61st Summer Party. Jean and Martin Shafiroff are the honorees of this year’s Stony Brook Southampton Hospital Summer Party to be held on August 3, 2019, in Southampton, New York. Jean has also recently joined the Hospital’s board as a trustee. The rain stayed away so guests were able to enjoy the beautiful waterfront patio and gardens, as well as delicious catering by Cornelia Guest Events. The legendary Russian Samovar Restaurant and Piano Bar hosted a literary star-studded book release party for authors Allen Salkin and Aaron Short, featuring some of the restaurant’s authentic Russian delicacies and cocktails. In their new book, The Method to The Madness: Donald Trump’s Ascent as Told by Those Who Were Hired, Fired, Inspired—and Inaugurated (released July 9, 2019, by All Points Books), veteran journalists Salkin and Short has written an objective, nonpartisan oral history devoid of anonymous sources. The book shows that Trump had carefully planned his bid for the presidency since he launched what many considered to be a joke candidacy in 1999. The administration is still a joke to us!

SEE IT: MUJI’s New 59th Street Store

Japanese lifestyle brand, MUJI, will be opening another store in NYC. This time the store will open in midtown Manhattan on 59th street. The new location will be the third largest in the country, spanning 11,800 square feet of retail space with rustic wooden beams made from reclaimed materials.

The cover star arrived with her two of her children, Alexa Ray Joel, and Sailor Brinkley Cook, and posed for pictures with Social Life Publisher Justin Mitchell, Maria, and Kenneth Fishel and celebrity caterer Andrea Correale.
