TTAGIT- The Next Phase in Social Networking

by Desha Winborne

Social networking has exploded into many sites over the years. Though each site boast individuality most contain cross-platform capability that allows users to post on 2 or more sites with one click. Facebook is by far the most popular, but gaining new friends isn’t quite so easy, potential friends must share a friend or interest to discover your existence.  Even upon discovering you, depending on your settings they may have to “friend” you in order to participate in discussions on your page, comment on pictures etc.. TTAGIT by Intigold Mines LTD provides users with an open forum allowing conversations across networks with friends and *gasp* strangers alike.

We spent an evening testing out the new platform at a swanky cocktail party in NYC’s lower east side. The DL, a fabulous eatery hosted the event, providing cocktails and passing appetizers. Guests were invited to try out the new network and learn a little about its applications. Though the network is new is already has an android app.

Burton launched its 2013 collection at the Angel Orensanz Foundation on September 13. This launch was an all-around event that started with people filing into the church like venue where they were treated to food and drinks. As people ate DJ Roofeeo did his thing on the ones and twos creating an energy that could be felt for the remainder of the evening. As the music played people mingled and took pictures in front of a Burton backdrop.

75-ball versus 90-ball Bingo

by xoJohn

Back in the swinging sixties, there was only one form of bingo in the UK and that was 90-ball bingo. It was played mostly by women in large halls or community centres and attracted a large and loyal following. These days bingo is more commonly played online and other games exist alongside the original 90-ball game. One of the most popular ‘new’ games is not actually new at all. 75-ball bingo has been played in the US for decades but it has only crossed the pond with the advent of the Internet.

On August 8, 2012 we were delighted to attend the Gc Watches Smart Luxury cocktail reception recognizing their first U.S. Rising Stars, musician Shaina Taub and artist Moises Ramirez. The reception was held at the Robert Restaurant located on the 9th floor the Museum of Art and Design in New York.

The restaurant has spectacular views that overlook Columbus Circle and Central Park West.  This made for the perfect backdrop for the talent and artistry represented at the event.  Cases displaying Gc brand watches were spotlighted by the setting sun.
