On Monday November 14, 2022, RR Auction’s SVP Bobby Livingston & The Chelsea Hotel hosted a private preview of previously unseen paintings, illustrations, and self-portraits from It Girl, actress & Warhol’s SuperStar SuperStar Edie Sedgwick, produced from 1960 through 1970, with several of the works from 1965, Edie’s time as Andy Warhol’s muse at the Factory.

This was an incredible recognition of Edie’s talent as an artist.”

More than 400 guests attended the preview, an eclectic and one-of-a-kind mix of friends and family, of all ages  & nationalities, artists, photographers, filmmakers & producers, authors and publishers, collectors, curators, neighbors, and past & current residents of The Chelsea Hotel, where Edie stayed when she was in the city. Edie’s late husband Michael Post, brother John Sedgwick, as well as close friend & legendary music producer Danny Fields, were in attendance, as well as art world and collectors Gillian McCain, Misha Barton, Lady Liliana Cavendish, Spyros Niarchos, Janna Bullock & Michele Gerber Klein, Warhol Foundation Vincent Fremont, Beyeler Museum’s Sam Keller, actors Griffin Dunne & Ezra Williams, producers Jane Rosenthal, Darren Aronovsky, Laura Bickford and John Buffalo Mailer, photographers Craig McDean, Michael Avedon & Mary Ellen Matthews as well as fashion world’s Zac Posen, Christiaan, James Kaliardos, Anne Christensen, Harol Baez, Alix Brown, Freddie Lieba, Di Mondo & Logan Horne. Young socials, collectors & curators included Sophie, Taylor & Lizzie Plimpton, Tali Lennox, Laura Eastwood, Carolina Hoffman, Eugenia Bullock, Haluk Sabanci, Olivia Zabludowicz & Maia Twombly, and publishers & authors Jay McInerney, Michael Henry Adams, David Margolick, Morgan Entrekin and New School’s Anne Margaret Daniel, to name a very few….

She thought she was prepared for anything, but nothing could prepare her for witnessing the suicide of a patient. After witnessing the horrific death of a young patient she was unable to help, the good Dr. comes face to face with the same affliction. In a race against time, Dr. Cotter must find a cure or meet certain death, with a smile.

They try desperately to escape and in their haste, wreck their vehicle, and lose all communication and their guide. Trapped in the bush with a demented predator on their trail the grief-stricken family must rely on their instincts and each other to make it out alive.
