Canon Powershot and People Magazine Music Lounge held an private featuring an exclusive performance by 2009 Grammy Award Nominee Sara Bareillas. Held at the New York’s premier event space, Hudson Terrace, guests sipped on specialty drinks and hor’ devours while enjoying the sounds of Sara Bareillas and DJ Roctakon. Bareillas performed several songs, which included “Gravity”, “Bottle it Up”, and her hit single “Love Song”.
Before entering the event, guests were invited to get their photo taken for a chance to win one of these sleek gadgets. By the end of the night 4 lucky photos were chosen. Unfortunately it was not us! lol It was a great evening of live music and the New York skyline made for the perfect setting on such a great Spring day. Many thanks to Time Inc.

Rating: What the HELL was I thinking!
When I initially saw the posting on Highline Ballroom’s website for The Roots for $10, I thought I was seeing things! This had to be for a cover band! I emailed me friends and asked them if they saw the same thing. It was true. The Roots were doing a series of shows at the Highline Ballroom for $10. Should I go? I saw The Roots a few years back as headliners at Nokia Theater. I was blown away. I recently saw them as openers for Erykah Badu at Radio City Music Hall. Loved it! How could I pass this up? I love the Highline Ballroom venue because sitting or standing, you still have a great view of the stage. Most importantly, $10 for a concert to see one of the most innovative hip hop bands ever! SOLD!

To date, the site has become a well established online magazine where visitors can read about the latest bag trends as well as shop for that “must-have” items.
BagTrends.com held their first annual Green Arm Candy Party. This eco-friendly shopping extravaganza held at the Union Square Ballroom featured a host of eco-chic handbag designs. Creative Director Michelle Finkelshteyn (pictured, Left) gave us an exclusive private tour of the event where we saw unique handbags creations by Creollus, Teich, Cork Design, Canopy Verde Passchal, Simple Re-Gift It, and FEEDbags. Guests sipped on delicious specialilty drinks by Boomerang Australian Vodka and O.N.E. with wine supplied by Yellowglen.
