Reebok Classic x Future Collabo: Furykaze

by xoJohn

Reebok Classic and Future announced that the highly anticipated Furykaze will release on November 11.  As an ode to Future’s favorite Reebok sneakers, this brand new silhouette is a combination of the beloved Instapump Fury and Kamikaze II. Inspired by the Scorpion, Future’s astrological sign, the texture of the suede upper is reminiscent of the hair on the scorpion’s tail, claws, and legs, while the molded vamps emanate the ribbed body. The TPU heel collar also mimics the flexibility of the scorpion’s tail and folds easily down for ease of wear.

2017 Oscars: Best and Worst Dressed

by Desha Winborne

Tonight is the night we’ve all been waiting for, The Oscars are finally here! This year’s list of nominees is more diverse than ever before with some of our favorite performers in the running. Taraji Henson, Mahershala Ali, and Michelle Williams are just a few of our favorites vying for the coveted statue this year. Before the opening number ever takes place the magic starts on the red carpet with glorious fashions and the year’s hottest looks.  Some of our favorites from the carpet include:

Taraji  P. Henson isn’t hiding her figure this evening. The gorgeous star of Hidden Figures wore a form fitting velvet gown with thigh-high split. We love this understated yet elegant look on Taraji.

Brie Larson gives the black dress new depths in this gorgeous black gown with architectural details. The stunning ruffle and pointed bodice are whimsical but chic.

Octavia Spencer accentuated her curvaceous figure with a cinched waist gown with a voluminous skirt. For this look, she kept her makeup and hair simplistic with a soft smoky eye for just a touch of drama.

Viola Davis looks radiant in a floor-length crimson gown. The beautiful bright red looks amazing against her bronze skin. We are in love with her slick face-framing haircut and her soft golden glow. Congrats on your win!

Chrissy Teigen gave us glittering glamor in this white hot gown with silver embellishments and cape detail. The look is unique and fits her vivacious personality.

Hailee Steinfeld is absolutely resplendent in this gown. From top to toe she’s like an ethereal fashion goddess.

Janelle Monae brought #BlackGirlMagic to the Oscars. We love the silhouette, the hair, the accessories, just everything about Monae’s look.

While some wowed us on red carpet others left us underwhelmed. Our least favorite looks for the night were:

Dakota Johnson channeled her inner golden girl and came up with this mess.  The dress is virtually shapeless and fit for ladies night at Shady Pines, not the glamorous red carpet.

Michelle Williams’ dress is just blah. It’s one of those safe dresses thin girls throw on when they can’t find anything else. The chest-baring bodice and color blocking are off-putting and too casual for the Oscars.

Emma Roberts clearly got her fashion cues from whoever dressed Michelle Williams.

Halle Berry has us perplexed with this dress. The contrast mess she’s wearing has us confused enough but what’s with the lopsided fro? What was she thinking? Is the wig backwards?

Blanca Blanco brought out the gaudy number for the red carpet.  The print is too busy, the slit is too high and the little red belt is just plain ugly. To add insult to injury she does the infamous Jolie leg pop for a added touch of cheap.

Last but certainly not least our award for best dressed of the year goes to Lion’s Sunny Pawar! He is so handsome in his tailored suit with slightly tousled hair. How could anyone resist that million dollar smile and perfect little tux?

Good luck to all the nominees, tonight we make movie history. Check out the gallery below for more Oscar fashion.
