GUESS & Marie Claire Host Opening of GUESS Flagship Store

Renovation is an understatement when describing the restructuring and re-opening of the SoHo Guess Boutique. A launch was thrown to celebrate the new and improved face of Guess in the downtown area. The store had a modern romantic twist with it’s high white ceilings, beautiful light instillation, tall black pillars, and gigantic oval vases filled with red long stem roses. The guests were well appreciated, consuming Patron Tequila Mojitos and delicious passed hors d’oeuvres. The red carpet was on fire with flashbulbs as celebrities went by for their photo-ops. Amber Rose was stunning in her signature red lip and trendy shades, not to mention her exposed black bra underneath a button down checkered black and white top by Guess. First Sasha Fierce took over the YOUTUBE airwaves with mass recreations of “Single Ladies” and now this. Beyonce & Tina Knowles are adding to their House of Dereon clothing line with the “Sasha Fierce Collection”. Taking up the theme from Beyonce‘s alter ego “Sasha Fierce” the line is geared toward juniors (yes I said juniors). Have no fear your daughters won’t be able to recreate scenes from the “I Am….” tour with gold leotards, but a more “subdued” array of black ensembles picked by the Knowles women. The Sasha Fierce line will boost House of Dereon into a new realm once it’s rolled out this winter. The collection includes sportswear, outerwear, handbags, footwear, eyewear, lingerie…….(although you might want to keep your daughters out of the lingerie) and jewelry. According to Tina Knowles the accessories “are really over the top”, with such embellishments as large chains made of mixed metals , heavily studded shoes and oversized sunglasses.
Here’s a sneak peek of the campaign launch…looks like Mothers and Daughters will be FIERCE this winter.
