Exclusive: 2012 Moët Rosé Lounge Presents Nas’ Life Is Good

Last night, we joined Moët & Chandon as they kicked off their highly anticipated 2012 Moët Rosé Lounge Series. The launch party was hosted by lyricist Nas who also celebrated the release of his tenth studio project, “Life Is Good”. Life was definitely good last night…

The Moët Rosé Lounge translates the extravagance of Moët Nectar Impérial Rosé into a tangible, celebratory occasion.

NYC hot spot Bagatelle was transformed into a luxurious supper club with endless amounts of Moët Nectar Impérial Rosé, delicious hors d’oeuvres, and music courtesy of Q-Tip and DJ Wonder who spun Nas’ Life Is Good album.


As if that wasn’t enough, the invite-only crowd was completely filled with top media professionals and A-List celebrities, including Jay-Z, Beyonce (rocking long braids), Swizz Beatz, Jermaine Dupri, Wale, Miguel, Teyana Taylor, Tyson Beckford, Angie Martinez, Eric Benet, and a slew of other celebrities.

When asked about his partnership with Moët & Chandon, Nas explained “I’m excited to serve as the inaugural host of Moët & Chandon’s Moët Rosé Lounge 2012 series. It’s an honor to celebrate the next chapter of my career with the support of a sophisticated brand like Moët.”

The Moët Rosé Lounge debuted in June 2010 with influential singer-songwriter The Dream in Detriot. Previous Moët Rosé Lounge celebrity hosts included: Kelly Rowland, Ne-Yo, Trey Songz, Common and Keri Hilson in markets such as: New York City, Chicago, Atlanta, Washington DC, Miami, Baltimore and Cleveland. After the success of last night’s launch event, The Moët Rosé Lounge will travel to Miami and Los Angeles.

To celebrate the upcoming event series, Moët & Chandon has also partnered with the luxury brand Mosley Tribes for the Moët Rose Lounge series for a second year to create custom limited edition “Rosé” sunglasses in celebration of the private three-city celebrity supper club-style tour. The oversized, acetate sunglasses are retro inspired with a double bridge style, matte and gloss plastic frame front, and rose-colored mirrored lenses.
