“So fresh and so clean” comes to mind when thinking about George McCracken’s Fall 2010 offering. There’s an absolute timelessness to this collection while managing to steer clear of boredom. I supposed someone must dress the new industrial urbanite – and for them he chooses wool flannels with a resin coating and cotton blended with metal or paper. Simplicity and quality are aesthetics that McCracken chose to live by this season and has officially deemed the third pocket a classic. The artist-turned-designer talks with us about his direction after the rotating presentation at John Connelly Presents during New York Fashion Week.
