NYFW | George McCracken Fall/Winter 2010

“So fresh and so clean” comes to mind when thinking about George McCracken’s Fall 2010 offering. There’s an absolute timelessness to this collection while managing to steer clear of boredom. I supposed someone must dress the new industrial urbanite – and for them he chooses wool flannels with a resin coating and cotton blended with metal or paper. Simplicity and quality are aesthetics that McCracken chose to live by this season and has officially deemed the third pocket a classic. The artist-turned-designer talks with us about his direction after the rotating presentation at John Connelly Presents during New York Fashion Week.
