“At the end of the day, if our music makes you smile or dance or sing in some way, then we are accomplishing our goals. We want to bring a little fun back to music. We want to brighten up your bad days. We want be the soundtrack to your great days.” – Chris Wallace, vocals for The White Tie Affair (TWTA biography)

The Chicago based Pop/Rock group, The White Tie Affair, proved that to be true when they hit that stage of Highline Ballroom apart of CMJ’s Music Marathon. The group, with constant video rotation on VH1 and MTVU, performed songs from their debut album Walk This Way to a crowd of screaming girls. Their electrify energy on stage proved that they have graduated from being the opening act for big names such as Cyndi Lauper and Lady Gaga, to being the headliner.
