Atlantic City Baby! It’s the east coast’s answer to Vegas and on Saturday night, the playground for Nicky Hilton’s 26th birthday. After 8 years away from AC, Nicky returned to celebrate her birthday with hundreds of partygoers at DJ AM’s Dusk in Caesar’s Palace. “He (DJ AM) always told me about this place. He’s like I’m not just saying this because I own it but it is the coolest place. I’m excited to see it.” And a cool club it was! The interior boasted a sleek circular dance floor with platform and dance pole set ups around the perimeter. The DJ booth sat at just above eye level among the crowd while the VIP tables were situated behind the DJ booth giving guests an “all the world’s a stage” view of the dance floor. The color schemes and lighting effects gave the feel of sunset, setting a sensual tone and perfect atmosphere to let loose.
Nicky looked absolutely chic in a black studded dress by Christopher Kane for Top Shop, Christian Louboutin heels, and sharp ring by Jade Jagger for Garrard. It’s only natural that Miss Hilton is expanding her design horizons, “I just launched my brand, Nicky Hilton at the Tokyo Girls collection. I’ll be adding handbags and jewelry.”
Sean Kingston came out to perform for Nicky’s birthday. When asked about his pre-performance rituals, “I just like to pray before I get out there and do my thing. It’s all about fun with me”. He performed his hits “Fire Burning” and “Take You There”, while he sported a black diamond Jesus piece the size of my palm. The audience went wild once Sean touched stage, hiking the energy up about 20 more notches. After the performance, guests partied to the break of dawn. It definitely was a great night of hot music and a hot performance. DJ AM would have been proud.
