Creativity, vibrant colors and excellent music filled the Metropolitan Pavillion last Thursday for Housing Works‘ 5th Annual Design on a Dime Benefit presented by K-Mart and Sears. Top interior designers strut their stuff through numerous room displays in the large venue. Featuring furniture, linens. and new housewares. From Jaclyn Smith of the original Charlie’s Angels, actress Parker Posey, to the uber fabulous Ty Pennington were present to show off their collections and support at the extraordinary affair. While admiring the artistic visions of these home enhancing geniuses, attendees were able to purchase and bid on items included in each set up.
The benefit was to raise money for the homeless and low-income New Yorkers living with HIV/AIDS. To learn more about this event and how you can donate to such a worthy cause, please visit Housingworks.org.
